Learn how to safely and skillfully lead aerial yoga classes for students of most levels and abilities!

This training is meant to take your yoga practice off the mat and into the air! Aerial yoga is an amazing addition to your yoga practice or fitness routine. Learning how to not only teach each pose safely, but sequence and planning an aerial yoga class can be challenging!

In this 50 hour training you’ll have plenty of time to learn how to safely and proficiently lead aerial yoga classes for students of all levels and abilities. Your time will be a combination of hands-on classroom learning, discussions, self study, and observation.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Basic and intermediate asanas
  • Over 100 Poses – how to achieve, how to teach, how to sequence
  • The eight limb approach to aerial yoga
  • Transitions in the hammock/sling and creating an easy flow
  • When, how, and why to invert
  • Information about the benefits of aerial yoga
  • Tips and tricks for ensuring safety in the hammock/sling for both you and your students

Who Is This For?

  • Yoga teachers of all experience levels
  • Advanced yoga practitioners who would like to deepen their aerial practice or expand their yogic repertoire
  • Pilates instructors and other fitness professionals
  • Aerial arts educators, performers, and enthusiasts

This training will have a strong yogic base and discuss topics more familiar to a person with a 200 hour yoga teacher training background, however many individuals can benefit from the training and you do not need to have a yoga training to enroll.
