Bungee Program

Our Bungee Fit class (now “Bungee Dance”) was voted the Best Exercise Class by the Austin Chronicle’s 2022 Reader’s Poll.

Bungee is a high intensity and low impact workout that incorporates cardio, dance, low flying fun, and a lot of bouncing. If you’ve ever dreamed of flying through the air with the greatest of ease, bungee might just be your new favorite apparatus.

Size Inclusive: Our program is size inclusive and we can accommodate students with waists from 24” - 64” with our array of harness sizes. There is no upper weight limit to joining any of our bungee classes, but we do have a lower weight limit of 85 lbs. due to equipment limitations.

What to Wear: We recommend wearing leggings or close-fitting pants/shorts (biking shorts are great) and full-bottomed underwear that will stay in place and keep you aligned. Some people prefer wearing two layers for extra cushioning (such as biking shorts with pants over or under).

What to Bring: Be sure to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout class. Some students also like bringing a sweat towel.

Class Options

We currently offer three different kinds of bungee classes at Sky Candy. For new students (or students who prefer a slower paced class), we recommend trying out Intro to Bungee. For experienced students looking to learn choreography and incorporate bungee skills into longer sequences, check out Bungee Dance. For experienced students looking for a heart pumping workout, check out Bungee Cardio. And join us for our newest class, Bungee: Bounce & Sweat, a playground for us to experiment with more challenging variations of intro skills!

  • 60 minute class provides a great foundation for new students to bungee. It’s also a great option for folks who want to continue taking a slower paced, technique focused class before trying other bungee options.

    Open to all students

    This class is required to take other bungee classes at Sky Candy

  • 75 minute class where students learn choreography and incorporate bungee skills into longer sequences to music.

    Must have taken Intro to Bungee at least once to learn safe use and operation of our equipment and to get accustomed to being in the harness and bungee set up

  • 50 minute class focused on high intensity interval training for a heart-pumping good time!

    Must have taken Intro to Bungee at least once to learn safe use and operation of our equipment and to get accustomed to being in the harness and bungee set up

  • 60 minute class that changes week to week based on instructor’s choice - we’ll try out more challenging variations of the basics you learned in Intro and get a great endorphin rush along the way.
