November First Flyday

Our next First Flyday is on Friday, November 1st – the day after Halloween (and right smack in the middle of Dia de los Muertos). While most of y’all are celebrating your Halloweekend on October 25th-27th, we’re just not ready for the month of spooky to come to an end!

** Open Studio **
Starting at 5pm in our Charm Studio (aerial and harness studio), we invite experienced students to train and hang out with their fellow aerialists!

** Costume Contest **
Need just one more day to enjoy your Halloween costume? (or the backup Halloween costume that wasn’t office appropriate or *quite* finished yet?) Join our costume contest! Sign up at the Front Desk to arrive and through the magic of anonymous peer voting, we’ll have a winner announced at 7pm! The winner will receive 2 free Open Studios.

** Leftover Halloween Candy & Recovery Potluck **
Bought too much Halloween candy and wanna share the bounty? Tired of eating sugar and want to bring some veggies to help yourself and everyone else recover? We’re here for it!

** Costume Swap **
Bring your gently worn and clean Halloween costumes, performance outfits, and other fabulous costume pieces that aren’t serving you anymore and find some new threads! You don’t have to bring stuff in order to participate. This will be host in the gym and the back bathrooms will be available as changing rooms.

This monthly event is free for current students* and Sky Candy Live at the UMLAUF volunteers. It’s just a $5 suggested donation for everyone else.
